James Whitbourn at Christmas

The world premiere of Winter’s Wait by the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge, is among the highlights of performances of music by James Whitbourn taking place around the world this Christmas.

James WhitbournThe new carol is a setting of words by Robert Tear, an honorary Fellow of King’s College. The performance by the world famous choir in King’s College Chapel will be filmed by the BBC and will be broadcast on Christmas Eve.

Whitbourn’s popular Christmas Mass Missa Carolae is to be performed in many parts of the globe and will receive a new recording in January ready for next Christmas.
